For example, I am Aries rising with Mars in the First House. Fire, fire, fire. In a broad brush perspective this means I have a tendency to jump in head first without weighing all of the options. This results in more unpleasant lessons than pleasant ones because I did not do my homework. I did this because I have a predisposed way of getting so excited at the potential possibilities I want it all to happen right now. So now knowing this how do I rise above to change my experiences? Now I engage situations, opportunities et al with a fiery passion to investigate and explore the possibilities before making my decisions. I am still using all of that “fire” but in a more focused and positive way. Wow did life just get easier,my experiences are better and I am more productive.
The past provides the framework of data which we have to work with. How we as an individual choose to work with the data becomes a matter of free will and impacts our future of not only this lifetime but also our future lifetimes. This is similar to the situation of knowing that eating poorly results in health issues, low energy, weight gain, etc. However we choose as individuals whether or not we are going to eat that Big Mac. We decide and our life experiences will reflect the effects of our decisions. Natal charts give us the background information to make informed decisions.Our free will allows us to choose which position we will take that ultimately creates our experiences and our journey.
