What causes insomnia?  Most often it is having an overly active mind that hasn’t been trained to be silent.  As a society, we spend too much time in our minds!  The cursed internal dialogues we have throughout the day can keep anyone up all night never mind drive one self crazy.  Trust me, I know!  There was a time I could not sleep at night as I just couldn’t turn my mind off in order to find the relaxation needed to fall asleep.  There are many techniques to help with calming the mind chatter that seems to turn up as soon as our heads hit the pillow.
